Jr High (Middle School)Youth Ministry
This youth group meets the 1st & 3rd Saturday evening during the school year. They are led by staff youth leader, Sheri Parrett, providing fellowship fun, spiritual and service growth opportunities. We strive to empower each youth in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Fun activities include overnight LOCK-INS, sports & recreational activities, hayrides, game nights, movies nights, and holiday activities.
Spiritual growth discussions are part of all group activities, developing greater understanding of who we are as people of God. The youth leader can coordinate discussions and studies with the Pastor or parents input. The youth occasionally participate as lay leaders for our worship services.
Service opportunities to grow in serving God our Father, and each other are developed with the Pastor, youth leader and youth themselves. They often assist with larger church functions, requiring multiple group volunteer help, like the Thanksgiving Dinner, or preparing Christmas Baskets for the disadvantaged or serving meals at a mission. Every other summer the opportunity to attend a work camp is also offered.
Sr. High Youth ministry
This youth group meets on the 2nd & 4th Saturday evening during the school year. They are led by staff youth leader, Sheri Parrett, providing fellowship fun, spiritual growth and service growth opportunities. The focus is on finding real answers about who we are and how we relate to God, building friendships and leadership characteristics.
They enjoy and participate in much the same activities as the Jr. High Youth, but work on developing more of their Christian character through their group and individual growth.
Mission service trips are organized for both youth & adults to participate in. These have been organized every other summer.
